• Consultancy and support for automotive OEMs and their suppliers in the defined market segments. • Order acquisition, securing business, business development. • Sales responsibility for the defined customers. • Realistic sales planning (OP) for the following financial year and realisation of the reassessment (NE) for the current financial year. • Acquisition of new customers through broad-based groundwork and a targeted approach to competitive positions. • Gathering information, in particular on market position and competitive situation. • Initiating new application possibilities and supporting new and further product developments. • Processing complaints relating to product features and applications, recording and forwarding detailed reports to the head office for the relevant departments. • Assisting with the market launch of new products and conducting customer trials. • Carrying out training measures with customers.

Requirements

• Technically sound basic knowledge, especially of machine elements, acquired through engineering or technical studies or, alternatively, equivalent skills acquired in practice. • Basic commercial knowledge. • Several years of experience in the sale of products requiring explanation and advice. • Entrepreneurial personality with a professional, customer-orientated attitude, who is determined, persistent, confident in negotiations, cooperative and persuasive. • Open-minded, sociable and willing to sell high-quality products. • Good written and spoken English skills. • Willingness to travel. • Driving licence Class 3.
