β€’ Consultancy and support for automotive OEMs and their suppliers in the defined market segments. β€’ Order acquisition, securing business, business development. β€’ Sales responsibility for the defined customers. β€’ Realistic sales planning (OP) for the following financial year and realisation of the reassessment (NE) for the current financial year. β€’ Acquisition of new customers through broad-based groundwork and a targeted approach to competitive positions. β€’ Gathering information, in particular on market position and competitive situation. β€’ Initiating new application possibilities and supporting new and further product developments. β€’ Processing complaints relating to product features and applications, recording and forwarding detailed reports to the head office for the relevant departments. β€’ Assisting with the market launch of new products and conducting customer trials. β€’ Carrying out training measures with customers.

Requirements

β€’ Technically sound basic knowledge, especially of machine elements, acquired through engineering or technical studies or, alternatively, equivalent skills acquired in practice. β€’ Basic commercial knowledge. β€’ Several years of experience in the sale of products requiring explanation and advice. β€’ Entrepreneurial personality with a professional, customer-orientated attitude, who is determined, persistent, confident in negotiations, cooperative and persuasive. β€’ Open-minded, sociable and willing to sell high-quality products. β€’ Good written and spoken English skills. β€’ Willingness to travel. β€’ Driving licence Class 3.
