β’ Consultancy and support for automotive OEMs and their suppliers in the defined market segments. β’ Order acquisition, securing business, business development. β’ Sales responsibility for the defined customers. β’ Realistic sales planning (OP) for the following financial year and realisation of the reassessment (NE) for the current financial year. β’ Acquisition of new customers through broad-based groundwork and a targeted approach to competitive positions. β’ Gathering information, in particular on market position and competitive situation. β’ Initiating new application possibilities and supporting new and further product developments. β’ Processing complaints relating to product features and applications, recording and forwarding detailed reports to the head office for the relevant departments. β’ Assisting with the market launch of new products and conducting customer trials. β’ Carrying out training measures with customers.
β’ Technically sound basic knowledge, especially of machine elements, acquired through engineering or technical studies or, alternatively, equivalent skills acquired in practice. β’ Basic commercial knowledge. β’ Several years of experience in the sale of products requiring explanation and advice. β’ Entrepreneurial personality with a professional, customer-orientated attitude, who is determined, persistent, confident in negotiations, cooperative and persuasive. β’ Open-minded, sociable and willing to sell high-quality products. β’ Good written and spoken English skills. β’ Willingness to travel. β’ Driving licence Class 3.
