Description

• The Director of Sales (DOS) will work closely with the Senior Director of Sales and the Executive Team to set the sales strategy • The Director of Sales will manage up to 10 Area Sales Managers and be responsible for a portfolio of 45 to 60 hotels • This position is home-based • Position is home-based during client’s business hours and requires occasional travel for in-market visits • Working within a fun and fast-paced environment, Gillis’ culture offers dynamic training, ongoing coaching, and a deep commitment to taking care of employees • Create remarkable client experiences, manage client expectations, and maintain a high level of client and employee satisfaction

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Director of Sales experience in a regional role overseeing a Select Service portfolio • Success in leading a high performing sales team focused on revenue generation and sales performance • Experience leading a team of 10 + salespeople in a remote environment • Proficiency using a CRM and analyzing data to evaluate sales performance • Expertise in hiring and onboarding sales associates • Persuasive communication and ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders • Demonstrates a deep commitment to company culture and caring for its employees and clients • Effective presentation skills • Experience working in a remote home office environment • Ability to work from your home office at a computer for extended periods of time
