β€’ GitLab is an open core software company that develops the most comprehensive AI-powered DevSecOps Platform, used by more than 100,000 organizations. β€’ You will act as a primary point of contact and the face of GitLab for our prospects and customers within the Public Sector within the UK. β€’ To drive GitLab platform adoption across UK&I public sector organizations, orchestrating successful partner relationships and direct engagement across Local Authorities, Universities, Blue Light Services, Regional Healthcare Organizations, and Arms-Length Bodies, while ensuring alignment with government digital transformation initiatives. β€’ Lead GitLab platform enterprise sales across diverse public sector portfolio. β€’ Develop and execute multi-year account strategies using MEDDPICC methodology. β€’ Build C-level relationships across regional government bodies. β€’ Drive platform adoption through centers of excellence. β€’ Manage complex procurement processes across government frameworks. β€’ Create sector-specific value propositions and business cases. β€’ Build and execute strategic territory plan across public sector segments. β€’ Create scalable prospecting and account development strategies. β€’ Implement repeatable sector plays and reference programs. β€’ Manage resource allocation across complex account portfolio. β€’ Drive territory growth through new logo acquisition and expansion. β€’ Develop territory-specific partner ecosystems. β€’ Drive revenue through strategic system integrators. β€’ Develop relationships with regional service providers. β€’ Coordinate with cloud provider partnerships (AWS, Azure, GCP). β€’ Enable managed service provider success. β€’ Lead joint account planning and execution. β€’ Create scalable partner enablement programs.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Proven UK public sector software sales experience (5+ years) β€’ Deep understanding of government digital transformation initiatives β€’ Experience with government framework procurement β€’ Multi-stakeholder engagement in complex organizations β€’ Understanding of sector-specific requirements: β€’ Higher Education research computing environments β€’ Emergency Services command & control systems β€’ Healthcare information governance β€’ Local Authority shared services β€’ Regional government digital strategies β€’ DevSecOps platform sales experience β€’ Understanding of complementary technologies: β€’ Container Platforms (OpenShift, Tanzu) β€’ Security Tools (Snyk, SonarQube, Aqua) β€’ Infrastructure Automation (HashiCorp, Ansible) β€’ Artifact Management (JFrog, Nexus) β€’ Observability Solutions (Datadog, Dynatrace) β€’ API Management (Kong, Apigee) β€’ Cloud Security (Prisma, Wiz) β€’ DevSecOps Pipeline Tools (Jenkins, CircleCI) β€’ MEDDPICC methodology mastery and implementation β€’ Complex deal management experience β€’ Territory planning and scaling expertise β€’ Partner orchestration capability β€’ Proven forecast accuracy using MEDDPICC scoring β€’ Track record of complex deal closure β€’ Experience building territories from ground up β€’ Security clearance eligibility β€’ Willingness to travel across UK&I β€’ Experience with open source solutions β€’ Strong presentation and negotiation skills β€’ Demonstrable territory management tool proficiency β€’ Track record of building scalable territory models
