Description

• Group Black is a pioneering Black-owned media company connecting brands with diverse audiences. • Revenue team members are energetic team players partnering with clients and internal teams. • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to contracted sales. • Play key role in growing the business as a Client Partner. • Work closely with clients as a trusted advisor to understand their business goals. • Develop and execute creative campaigns ensuring quality at pitch and delivery phases. • Natural leader with skills in account planning, forecasting, and salesmanship. • Maximize and develop profitable opportunities for both advertisers and Group Black. • Proven experience in cultivating client relationships within a media organization.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of selling to or consulting with brands, agencies, corporate, media sector or enterprise customers, while driving revenue and transformation. • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • Experience in multi-platform media or advertising sales. • Experience with online video experience. • Relationships established with east coast agencies and Publicis. • The ability to consistently provide thorough daily/weekly/monthly forecasting metrics and communicate them in a cogent and succinct manner. • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, client relation and organizational skills. • Maintains a high level of preparedness. • Excellent time management skills and leadership ability. • Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined and have a positive attitude. • Proven track record of sales success and comfortable selling 5-7 figure deals. Bonus points if you have previously built your own book of business. • Consultative Selling approaches. • New Business Prospecting & Closing skills. • You are comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment that includes ongoing learning opportunities. Ability to work independently in a cross functional capacity when necessary. • Commitment to the mission, vision, and objectives of the organization.
