Description

• Accurately forecasts and delivers on monthly and annual sales targets • Manages the sales funnel from new opportunity generation through closing • Identifies, develops, and secures both new and current customers • Demonstrates advanced understanding of the Bioscience Cell and Drug Discovery portfolio • Advanced understanding of assigned accounts including site locations and key decision makers • Organizes, plans, and schedules time to provide optimum account coverage • Record activities and client information in the CRM database • Perform other duties as assigned • Ability to travel up to 30%

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience in Sales/Business Development in relevant Life Sciences industry • Required: previous business development and/or applications experience in the Boston area • Knowledge of cell biology, microbiology, molecular biology, and/or biochemistry preferred • Core Selling skills (prospecting, funnel management, closing, etc.) • Strong interpersonal skills • Creative, adaptable, capable of self-motivation and independence • Customer facing attitude, ability to build relationships based on trust • Strong gravitas in specific technology area of focus • Leadership skills and experience working in and driving teams to results • Ability to travel 30% of time for business
