• Develop and maintain relationship with (potential) customers. • Generate purchase orders to meet or exceed annual goal. • Continually contact prospective customers based on leads from business directories or other sources. • Maintain & submit appropriate records for forecasting, quote status & expenses. • Assist Applications Engineers as needed in developing solutions to the customer’s needs. • Support all aspects sales and marketing for geographic territory • Market research in geographic area • Industry trends • Geographic market understanding • Competitive landscape • Niche opportunity identification • Support lead generation activities • Value proposition development and communication • Support marketing efforts • Trade show participation • Marketing collateral • Trade associations involvement • Support aftermarket sales • Coordinate with BU’s • Align product offerings with market needs • Standard product design • Identify unique IP opportunities • Goal setting and alignment of activity to support goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of previous sales and new business development experience. • Possess a winning and creative approach to work when identifying customer solutions. • Proven ability to continually grow and develop accounts based on leads from customer stakeholders and prospecting within other divisions of their organization. • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time. • Remainder of time is home based.
