• Responsible for all commercial activity within your specific region. • Represent the region at industry forums and market events. • Partner with the Regional VP of Operations to deliver hotel P&Ls. • Interact with senior operations and corporate leaders across various departments. • Develop the annual Commercial Budget and Marketing/Sales plans. • Prepare weekly forecasts and presentations of commercial results. • Conduct negotiations for hotels with major accounts. • Accountable for hiring, motivating, and leading Commercial team members.
• 7-10 years of industry experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to sales or revenue management. • Fluent Spanish and English language skills. • Knowledge and understanding of Sales, Revenue management, budgeting, inventory control, and forecasting. • Experience managing multi-property models. • Excellent Team Leadership and management of multi-cultural teams. • Valid passport and ability to travel required. • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred. • Efficient with computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Revenue Management Software, and Reservations systems, including Envision, Salesforce.com, Lanyon RFP EzRMS, HBSi, Vertical booking, Rate Gain.
