β€’ At Instructure, we believe in the power of people to grow and succeed throughout their lives. β€’ Our goal is to amplify that power by creating intuitive products that simplify learning and personal development. β€’ We are looking for an experienced, articulate, and energetic education technologist to become a K12 Solutions Engineer (SE). β€’ Solutions Engineers provide support to sales that leads to closing new deals. β€’ They work directly with Regional Sales Directors in the field to explain how our solutions support best practices in teaching and learning. β€’ Solutions Engineers are the primary knowledge resource for all things technology and education as they relate to Canvas, Mastery Connect, Canvas Credentials, Impact and more. β€’ SEs are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. β€’ This is a work from home/remote position. However, candidates must be willing to travel up to 60%.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Edu experience, preferably in leadership at a school, district or state level. Or preferably in a technical sales capacity at an EdTech company. β€’ A strong understanding of instructional best practice and of digital tools that support best practice. Prior LMS or AMS admin experience preferred. β€’ Technical understanding of education technology, web technology, mobile technology, systems integration, SaaS, student information systems, APIs, etc. β€’ Articulate and dynamic presentation skills with the ability to present to a wide range of stakeholders, both virtually and face to face in casual and high stakes scenarios. β€’ Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches β€’ Self-motivated, self-reliant, collaborative, and communicative β€’ Thrive in a fast paced environment β€’ Must be a team player β€’ Must be prepared for extensive travel (up to 60% at peak periods)
