Description

• Lead public policy advocacy campaigns in Oregon • Serve as an ambassador for ACS CAN and American Cancer Society • Drive fundraising efforts and build relationships with stakeholders • Ensure compliance with lobbying requirements in Oregon • Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science or related field required • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in political and/or policy campaign • Health policy knowledge preferred • Fundraising experience preferred • Ability to draft bill or amendment language preferred • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, computer, and mobile application skills required • Action-oriented with the ability to work independently • Ability to work with others in complex environments • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships • Ability to complete work in a timely and efficient manner • Ability to utilize available technology to perform position responsibilities • Some travel required
