• Promote the sales of products for the Business Line Industrial Solutions team. • Develop sales tactics aligned with global and regional marketing strategies. • Plan and complete routine in-person customer visits with 50% travel. • Identify and manage new opportunities via the Opportunity Funnel. • Enhance relationships with customers at all levels and functions. • Negotiate multi-year sales agreements with strategic customers. • Provide both business and technical solutions to customers. • Collect and communicate information on industry trends and customer activities. • Attend and participate in trade shows as identified by marketing and sales. • Responsible for day-to-day activities such as resolving customer issues, writing reports, and presenting sales updates. • Participate in required safety and compliance training.
• Customer focused mentality. • BA, BS Degree from an accredited College or University required. • BS Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology preferred. • 3-5 years of experience in chemical sales required. • Experience selling biocides preferred, but not mandatory. • Ability to travel to visit customers in the US and Canada 50% of the time. • Strong communication, teamwork, and negotiation skills. • Self-management and time management abilities. • Computer proficient with expertise in Microsoft Office software package and CRM’s.
