Description
β’ Lead a team of category managers at the enterprise level and oversee the logistics category. β’ Build partnerships with key suppliers to drive overall business strategies. β’ Deliver exceptional service and value to Leidos with high-performing, innovative supplier base.
Requirements
β’ Relevant bachelor's degree from an accredited college β’ 8+ or more years of experience in areas of procurement, category management, supplier management, supply chain, or other relevant areas β’ 5+ years of demonstrated logistics management β’ 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams β’ Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting β’ Proven negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships β’ Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels β’ Proficient in logistics management software and tools β’ Experience setting up and managing/evaluating freight, freight forwarder, and 3PL contracts both for domestic and international coverage β’ Demonstrated history of developing solutions to meet program requirements β’ Experience collaborating with multiple organizations to achieve a common goal β’ Ability to develop a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, cross functional collaboration and goal planning and execution
