• The Senior Benefits Specialist is primarily responsible for benefit plan administration, compliance, and employee questions. • The ideal candidate will have robust benefit administration skills, experience with Workday benefits administration software, be able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and be able to collaborate as a part of a team. • Administer and ensure compliance of all Benefit Plans: Insurance plans (medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD, supplemental), 401(k), ESPP, FSA (health, dependent), Commuter benefits, Wellness Bonus. • Process payment of all benefit billings and ensure payments are on time and accurate. • Audit benefit carriers and Workday to ensure all employee changes have been accurately entered into systems. • Review system integrations, system configuration, and reporting. • Administer and process: Disability Claims, Benefit Verifications & Medical Support Orders, Qualifying Life Events, Loss of Life Events, COBRA, Union Dues. • Advise employees on eligibility, coverage, and other benefit matters. • Function as a liaison between employees and carriers to help resolve employee concerns.
• Benefit administration experience, Workday experience preferred • Attention to detail • Analytical skills • Sense of urgency • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) • Time management (ability to prioritize workload and manage one’s own time) • Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships (developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others) • Bachelor’s degree or related experience in Human Resources, Finance, or Business Administration • General knowledge of accounting
