Description

• Provide general legal services to various corporate departments regarding marketing and trademark initiatives. • Review marketing and advertising initiatives for compliance with laws and regulations. • Conduct trademark searches, enforcement, and support business strategy. • Provide leadership and expertise for legal matters. • Manage outside counsel and internal colleagues. • Responsible for leading legal staff in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D) degree. • 10+ years’ experience working in a law firm or corporate legal department. • Proven verbal and written communication skills, ability to negotiate and reconcile opposing positions. • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a management role. • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and client needs. • Proven capability of actively participating in and influencing cross-functional teams. • Evidence of ability to analyze, problem-solve and make decisions. • Practical, business-oriented approach to problem-solving. • Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills. • Strong change and project management skills. • Ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
