Description

• Develop comprehensive data warehouse and platform architecture blueprints, encompassing data modeling, ETL processes, data integration, storage, and data governance • Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance our data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and security • Oversee the complete lifecycle of data solutions, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and maintenance • Define and implement strategies for integrating data from various sources, both batch and real-time, to enable holistic insights • Continuously monitor and optimize data warehouse performance to ensure efficient data processing and reporting • Establish and enforce data governance best practices, including data quality, data lineage, and compliance with regulatory requirements • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions that drive business value • Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, designs, and processes for reference and knowledge sharing • Manage and support production processes for large scale low latency Spark-based ETLs using Delta lake, S3, Kafka implemented in AWS • Partner with peer leads in Core Data Services to ensure that all infrastructure and software needs are met

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field • Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on data warehouse and platform engineering • Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, data integration, and data warehousing concepts • Hands-on experience with leading data warehousing and analytics technologies (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery) • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL) and data manipulation tools • Knowledge of data governance and compliance practices • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically • AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications (preferred) • Strategic thinker with very strong focus on operational practices and service delivery • Highly self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills
