Description

• Establish and maintain a robust project governance framework to oversee the implementation of multiple systems. • Ensure that all projects are aligned with the overall business objectives and comply with governance standards and best practices. • Monitor the overall status and progress of different parties (internal teams, third-party vendors, and stakeholders) and systems involved in the project. • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and the customer, highlighting key achievements, risks, and issues. • Act as the primary point of contact for communication with the customer, ensuring clear, consistent, and timely updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables. • Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues that could impact project delivery. • Utilize project management tools and techniques to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project progress, quality, and budget. • Serve as a trusted advisor to the customer and senior management, providing insights and recommendations on project strategy, system implementation, and stakeholder engagement. • Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new systems. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, project managers, technical teams, and third-party vendors. • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field. • A Master’s degree is preferred. • WMS and/or LMS experience an asset. • 10+ years of experience in project management or governance roles, preferably within a consulting or large enterprise environment. • Proven experience managing large-scale system implementations, with a strong understanding of project governance frameworks and best practices. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and customers. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying and managing project risks and issues. • Experience with change management and the ability to lead organizations through complex transformations. • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or similar certification is highly desirable. • Ability to travel up to 40%, depending on project requirements.
