Description

• Responsible for selling various medical products and solutions • Take ownership and leadership of regional territory accounts • Develop meaningful relationships with new customers • Sell medical solutions to all levels of decision makers • Educate customers on current industry trends and regulations • Make cold calls and prospects new business opportunities • Call on the sales division market contacts • Develop a strong knowledge base about Medline’s product catalog • Prepare business reviews, bids, and negotiate contracts • Collaborate between customer service, sales administration, and sales management

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field • At least 2 years business-to-business sales experience • Willing to travel at least 10% of the time • Background in commissioned, tangible product sales • Ability to present on and be knowledgeable of multiple product lines • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Must be people-oriented with strong interpersonal skills • Strong customer service focus • Ability to deal with difficult situations in a positive manner • Proven ability to manage full life-cycle projects • SAP experience • Computer proficient with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
