Description

• At Minted, our engineering team is hands-on, collaborative, and values-driven. • As an Engineering Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to grow and mentor a team of engineers while making a significant impact on the final product from day one. • You’ll play a key leadership role in delivering innovative solutions that empower our marketing efforts and uphold our commitment to customer privacy and data security. • The Marketing & Privacy team focuses on building systems and features that help Minted drive growth through personalized marketing, while safeguarding customer data and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. • This role requires both technical expertise and strong leadership skills to manage a high-performing team and align stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

• A technical foundation with a BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience and 5+ years in software engineering. • 2+ years of experience leading teams as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or similar role. • Expertise in full stack development and system design, with a strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and cloud architectures. • Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar, and a solid grasp of SQL and database modeling. • Familiarity with marketing systems (e.g., email marketing platforms, tag management, customer segmentation tools, analytics pipelines) and privacy technologies (e.g., data encryption, anonymization techniques). • Experience working with privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, including implementing technical solutions to ensure compliance. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around a shared vision. • A passion for mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and psychological safety.
