Description

• Vannevar Labs builds next generation defense software for public servants. • Seeking a dynamic Software Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team for our core product, Decrypt. • Develop and lead a strong cross-functional team and create new workflows that allow users to work with our data more insightfully. • Identify opportunities to enhance collaboration and improve engineering standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in engineering leadership roles, either as a tech lead or engineering manager. • Strong technical expertise in developing both the frontend and backend for data-intensive applications. • High ethical standards for handling sensitive data, ensuring adherence to data privacy rules and compliance standards. • Willingness to travel up to 15%. • Excellent communication skills, teamwork abilities, and project ownership. • U.S. Citizenship (required to access U.S.-only data systems). • Proficiency with software development in cloud services. • Familiarity with Typescript, React, and Kubernetes-based deployment systems.
