Description

• Responsible for sourcing, screening, negotiating with and attracting qualified potential employees and consultants. • Work closely with the Resource Manager to understand client needs, screen candidates, and manage the recruiting process from start to finish. • Support MWR clients in building their FTE teams and achieving their business objectives. • Develop and execute recruiting plans and strategies to develop strong candidate pool. • Attract and build relationships with qualified candidates for MWR client positions. • Write, post, and maintain job descriptions on relevant platforms. • Source candidates using ATS, LinkedIn, Workable, and other job boards. • Evaluate candidates’ knowledge, skills, and experience. • Update ATS with recruiting tasks and activities. • Schedule and conduct candidate screening calls. • Check candidate resumes for quality and content. • Create candidate summaries and rates for internal submission. • Schedule and conduct thorough candidate screening calls, interviews and interview prep calls. • Maintain regular contact with candidates throughout the recruitment process. • Present verbal offers and conduct offer negotiations. • Attend weekly internal and client meetings. • Collaborate with Resource Manager and MWR client hiring managers to develop job descriptions and compensation packages.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of technical and/or electrical or mechanical engineering recruiting experience. • Direct hire experience strongly preferred. • Proven expertise in sourcing tough to find candidates. • Electrical utility industry experience is a plus. • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems. • Familiarity with job boards and computer systems designed specifically for recruiting. • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines. • A high level of ethics and confidentiality. • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills. • Detail-oriented, a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong time management and organizational skills. • Team player.
