β€’ Newell Brands is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands. β€’ The National Sales Manager (NSM) is responsible for Leading National Distribution for Wholesale, Office, and Foodservice Distribution. β€’ The National Sales Manager will develop, execute, and foster a collaborative business partnership between the Commercial Business Segment and assigned customer base that delivers volume, share, and profitability objectives for the BU across multiple product lines. β€’ This role will be responsible for delivering annual financial and distribution objectives across the book of business. β€’ This role will build, manage, and execute Joint business plans with the customer and collaborate internally with cross functional team members to build and execute robust plans. β€’ The NSM will also be responsible for managing, coaching, developing, and driving accountability with a team that is responsible for strategic customers in the book of business.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in business or similar field required, MBA is a plus. β€’ Minimum 5+ years of direct and hands-on experience in sales β€’ Experience working in a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Fast-Moving Consumer Good (FMCG) and/or consumer durables industry strongly preferred. β€’ Ability to analyze syndicated data. β€’ Experience working within a live trade accrual system. β€’ High level knowledge and understanding working with Retailer POS system & metrics. β€’ Ability to run, comprehend and communicate report findings. β€’ Selling experience within consumer products, preferrable across multiple brands. β€’ Ability to operate independently given direction and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised. β€’ Ability to analyze and assess organizational needs and provide solutions accordingly. β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to present data in an organized manner to various levels of the organization. β€’ Strong project planning, tracking & organizing skills. β€’ Ability to build relationships and navigate a matrixed organization.
