Description

• The Communications team is responsible for building and enhancing Nielsen’s reputation as the leader in audience measurement and streaming. • The VP of Strategic Partnerships drives strategy for Nielsen’s partnerships with industry associations. • Identifies new opportunities to enhance industry relationships in support of Nielsen’s goals. • Provides strategic direction to Nielsen’s executives on major partnership initiatives. • Works closely with comms to protect and promote the reputation of Nielsen. • Must be an exceptional relationship builder with a strong understanding of media, advertising, and measurement.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of related experience in media, advertising, measurement space • Ability to set strategy and execute well • Ability to work across a highly matrixed organization • Comfort working in a fast-changing, adaptive environment - with urgency • Strong writing skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Strong overall leadership and collaboration capabilities • Strong negotiating skills with proven ability to build and maintain relationships • Strong attention to detail is a must- with proven project management skills • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to solve tough problems and handle pressure to meet deadlines • Creative and process-driven • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
