• We are seeking an assertive, self-motivated Outside Sales Representative to oversee commercial and residential Corian Solid Surface and Quartz business in Eastern Tennessee and Northern Alabama by working with Architecture & Design (A&D), builders, retailers, millwork and our fabrication partners. • Build trusted relationships with the Architecture & Design (A&D), builder and retailer communities to drive specifications and partner with key fabrication customers to close the business. • Provide a superior standard of service to residential & commercial B2B prospects and customers while marketing the Corian Design brands to them and influencing their purchases and decisions. • Schedule and execute in-person sales meetings with A&D firms, builders, retailers and existing fabrication customers (5-6 meetings/day) in set markets. • Drive specifications for commercial projects, including healthcare, education, and hospitality industries. • Generate new sales opportunities with developers, builders, kitchen & bath dealers, and stone fabricators. • Maintain customer information by documenting meetings, follow-up, and identifying opportunities using our CRM tool. • Update and maintain surfacing samples, while educating A&D on product applications. • Develop opportunities and follow through from the design stage through sale.
• The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of sales experience, preferably focused on B2B sales • Proven track record in driving revenue growth • Building materials sales experience with a history of calling on architects and designers a plus (but we will teach you everything you need to know) • Outstanding selling skills and presentation skills • Dynamic personality that enjoys working independently, but within a team to exceed sales targets • Experience with CRM / pipeline management programs is a plus • Computer/tech savvy with high computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, ACT or Salesforce • Ability to establish networking skills to promote brand awareness within business associations such as IIDA, AIA, ASID, NKBA, BHA and local universities • Ability to travel to local customers (5-6 appointments daily and 2-5 overnights a month), trade shows, associations and trips to Michigan for training and occasional sales meetings
