Description

• Create territory development plans and sell athenahealth’s revenue cycle management and clinical solutions to physicians • Meet and exceed assigned quota • Independently manage assigned territory • Develop integrated territory sales plan • Identify prospective clients and assess their needs • Conduct in-person demonstrations of athenahealth solutions • Submit comprehensive proposals • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasts

Requirements

• BA required, advanced degree preferred • A minimum of 5 years of experience selling practice management/revenue cycle or EMR software/solutions to office-based doctors or physician organizations • Ability to travel 60% of the time • Solid mastery of the economics of medical practices and ROI delivery • A successful history of achieving sales quotas of $2 million or more annually • Strong sales administration skills • Demonstrated experience developing processes to obtain leads • Expertise in territory planning, management and organization • Experience requiring the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to significant matters
