Description

• Supporting and maintaining existing systems within the Support and Change department. • Collaborating on Change projects and contributing to the delivery of high-quality bespoke software solutions. • Assisting in understanding and refining requirements with the client and the engineering team. • Supporting the smooth transition of new projects into the Support and Change department by working with the project team. • Using One Beyond’s support helpdesk to identify issues or change requests, updating ticket statuses, and communicating updates to clients. • Investigating support tickets with guidance, including identifying whether the issue is related to data, infrastructure, bugs, or change requests.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Software Developer role. • Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify the root cause of technical issues and follow appropriate steps to resolve them. • Foundational knowledge of computer software and the ability to follow technical instructions. • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries. • Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users. • Good organisational skills to manage tasks and meet deadlines. • Good debugging and profiling skills, particularly in database-centric systems.
