β’ Responsible for selling sponsorships and attendee passes for Opal Group live events. β’ Developing relationships with existing and potential clients. β’ Reach out to prospective attendees via LinkedIn, phone, or email. β’ Finding, pitching, and closing sponsorship opportunities. β’ Generating leads for live event registrations. β’ Conduct ongoing research in assigned areas to advance industry knowledge. β’ Meet key professionals, industry leaders, and senior executives. β’ Keeping a record of all new leads in the CRM database. β’ Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
β’ Bachelor's Degree preferred. β’ 1-2 years of experience in sales, hospitality, and/or events. β’ Outstanding interpersonal abilities. β’ Strong grammar and writing abilities. β’ A focus on results-driven activity and customer service. β’ Knowledge of service sales. β’ Writing sales emails and cold calling. β’ Preferably call center customer service experience. β’ Self-driven and able to function both individually and in a group. β’ The willingness to occasionally travel for conferences.
