Description

• Sales Target Achievement - Meeting or exceeding sales targets for your assigned territory. This involves developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth. • Forecasting and Planning - Developing sales forecasts and strategies for the territory based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights. • Budget Management - Responsible for managing budgets related to sales activities, including expenses for travel, sales promotions, and customer engagements. • Customer Relationship Management - Building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders in the pet food supply chain. • Product & Brand Training and Support - Providing training and support to distributors and retailers on product features, benefits, and selling techniques. • Problem Solving - Addressing customer issues and resolving complaints promptly and effectively. • New Business Development - Actively seek out new business opportunities by identifying potential customers and partnerships within the territory. • Promotions and Marketing - Working closely with marketing team to execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and other marketing activities within the territory. • Market Analysis and Reporting - Monitoring market & industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide insights and recommendations. • Compliance and Ethics - Ensuring that all sales and marketing activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Ability to develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve a sales target • Ability to analyze data to drive strategic plans • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment • An outgoing personality with excellent people skills • Strong ability to relate and effectively build relationships with people • 3+ years working experience in related field • Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment • Proactive and positive attitude • Valid driver's license • Passion for Pets and the Planet • Proficiency in basic Excel and PowerPoint; experience with sales reporting systems
