• Assist in the development, support and functionality rollout of an Electronic Health Record system • Optimize workflow processes through building applications • Learn EHR system capabilities • Participate in all phases of system development life cycle • Develop, configure, and modify moderately complex information systems • Create documentation of business requirements • Design, code/configure, test, debug, document, and maintain program/applications • Coordinate all testing phases during implementation and upgrades • Develop strong relationships with end user communities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field and at least 1 year of applicable IT or clinical experience • Or equivalent combination of education and experience • Specific EHR modules certification required within 3 months of class completion • Excellent analytical, organization, and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and within teams • Ability to solve complex problems and understand customer needs • Strong understanding of healthcare business process and technology • Basic understanding of healthcare workflows and terminology • Working knowledge of IT solutions and interfacing a plus
