• Responsible for negotiation of industry leading agreements for the group purchasing organization. • Objective is to ensure best in class industry pricing and contract terms and conditions. • Expected to secure and expand industry leading financial value for the GPO membership. • Strong negotiation skills and a thorough understanding of contract terms and conditions required. • Proficient in mitigating business risk, identifying cost savings opportunities and new contracts. • Mandatory competencies: strategy development, negotiations, financial analysis, communications, planning, decision making, project management, customer relations, presentation delivery, and Purchased Services expertise.

Requirements

• 7+ years healthcare contracting experience • Strong Analytical and negotiation skills • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and software • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others. • Problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex situations. • Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Ability and desire to absorb new information and learn quickly. • Highly organized and detail-oriented. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams. • Adaptable and open to feedback.
