Description

•Manage the Strategic Accounts Team (SAT) •Directly supervise a team of Development/Senior Development Officers •Provide quality assurance on funding proposals developed by programs teams •Act as a senior external representative for Oxfam •Lead efforts on sustaining and growing relationships with key foundation donors •Develop and implement three-year donor account plan strategies for priority accounts •Provide strategic guidance to cultivate and manage Oxfam’s relationships with strategic donors •Identify areas of mutual strategic interest between strategic institutional donors and Oxfam programs •Provide counsel and leadership to program staff and Development Officers •Serve as a key member within the IFP’s Senior Leadership Team •Champion the use of Salesforce or similar CRM systems

Requirements

•Minimum 8+ of related progressive experience •Demonstrated experience in managing, leading, developing, and coaching a team of direct reports •Experience in developing and nurturing teams, strategies, and portfolios •Superior writing, oral communication and interpersonal skills •Proven ability to cultivate positive relationships with US foundation donors, staff, board members and volunteers •Strong time management, problem-solving, organizational, planning and administrative skills •Ability to manage complex proposal development processes with multiple applicants and interlocking budgets •Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, prioritize work and to meet deadlines under pressure •Expertise in fundraising principles and practices relative to US foundations •In-depth knowledge of restricted funding budget construction and interpretation
