Description

β€’ Maintain relationship in consulting with facility management providing HR guidance and best practice. β€’ Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies. β€’ Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. β€’ Partners with the legal department as needed/required. β€’ Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to facility management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, conducting investigations). β€’ Works closely with facility management and HR to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. β€’ Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. β€’ Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning at facility level. β€’ Identifies training needs for HR Locals across full life cycle of HR tasks. β€’ Develops, trains management in all HR functions; including but not limited to - interviewing, hiring, termination process, promotions, performance review, safety, sexual harassment, etc. β€’ Provide day to day assistance within the HRIS system on process and functions for HCM, Absence, Compensation, Benefits, LOA. β€’ Consult, train, and coach HR Locals on processes within Workday, HRIS system. β€’ Troubleshoot with HR Locals on system issues and coach on how to troubleshoot the issues themselves. β€’ Coordinate, facilitate, or provide personal training specific to the region and needs of the HR Locals. β€’ Perform monthly audits of I9’s background checks, arbitration agreements to ensure compliance for all state and federal practices. β€’ Works with the Risk Manager as needed on complex HR/WC cases. β€’ Assists in acquisitions by on-boarding employees and training local HR. β€’ Responsible for researching, developing, and delivering training programs. β€’ Responsible for keeping up to date on Federal, State, and local law changes. β€’ Identify areas needing improvement and take effective measures to support customers. β€’ Understand union activity and CBA language.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university. β€’ Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred. β€’ Above average written and verbal communication skills required. β€’ Must have experience working in multi-states and understanding state specific employment regulations. β€’ HR Certification a plus. β€’ Travel by auto or airline will be required 25% of the time.
