• We are looking for a Partner Development Manager to join our Partnerships team. • This individual is responsible for building relationships with key partners that will accelerate Civil Government (CivGov) client adoption. • Collaborate closely with Planet’s sales team to ensure the right partners are engaged with the right opportunities. • This role reports to the Partnership Strategy Team Lead and will align with Planet’s Civil Government business group leaders.
• 4+ years of experience managing revenue-focused partnerships and/or selling alongside partners • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding individual and team performance expectations • Ability to work in a remote-first environment both collaboratively with others and independently while managing your own time effectively • Ability to communicate through various modes such as presentation, speaking, and writing to convey information clearly and achieve desired goals • Ability to teach and coach partner sales teams on selling Planet products and solutions • Ability to juggle competing and shifting priorities, such as knowing how and when to ask for clarification and support • Ability to creatively problem-solve and be self-motivated – even when circumstances are less than ideal • Ability to overcome obstacles and work through adversity to achieve goals
