• responsible for identifying and securing revenue in support of Plexus growth goals • owns developing plans which sell solutions to business development targets • meet business development revenue goals for sector or regional accounts • find customers by identifying and validating profitable business opportunities • prospect, cold call onto select targets to help qualify accounts • maintain a working knowledge of current and potential customers • work with the market sector team to identify risks and opportunities • build and develop multi-level relationships with external customers • partner with other key functions to further customer relationships • stay current with market sector trends, industry, and environment
• 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or • 6 years and a Master’s degree; or • equivalent experience • the individual must maintain objectivity and possess proactive problem solving skills • ability to influence others, possess conflict resolution and negotiation skills • must be self-motivated with the ability to follow through on assignments with little to no supervision
