β€’ About Provectus: Provectus (www.provectus.com) is a leading AI and data consultancy that empowers organizations to leverage cutting-edge technologies for digital transformation. β€’ Position Overview: We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our life sciences practice. β€’ In this role, you will leverage your industry expertise to identify opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and drive new business acquisitions within the life sciences sector. β€’ This position plays a critical role in positioning our organization as a trusted leader in AI and data-driven transformation for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, and related industries.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Proven track record of consistently exceeding new business targets in technology consulting in life sciences or healthcare domains. β€’ Experience selling to (or working with) diagnostic, BioTech, or BioPharma companies. 8+ years of experience in business development or sales roles, with a demonstrable history of winning new logos and opening new markets within regulated industries. β€’ Understanding or interest in AI, machine learning, data analytics, cloud data technologies, and their business applications in life sciences (e.g., bioengineering, drug discovery, patient insights, clinical trial optimization). β€’ Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) and understanding cloud-based AI solutions is highly desirable. β€’ Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence life sciences C-level executives. β€’ Outstanding communication and presentation skills, adept at articulating complex AI and data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. β€’ Proven ability to manage and close complex, high-value, long-cycle sales processes. β€’ Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify new market opportunities and develop effective go-to-market plans in the life science industry. β€’ A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree in a relevant technical field, bioengineering, or life sciences is a strong plus. β€’ Willingness to travel frequently to meet prospective clients and attend industry events.
