• Responsible for gaining and maintaining broad coverage, access and reimbursement for products. • Interact with regional payers and collaborate with Market Access Leadership and other departments. • Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and company SOPs. • Develop and maintain understanding of product disease state and customer engagement. • Serve as internal expert on payer related issues and communicate coverage information. • Develop relationships with key pharmacy and medical management decision makers. • Support collaboration with Medical/Patient Engagement/Marketing teams. • Maintain the highest compliance and integrity standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related business discipline. • Minimum of 8+ years of demonstrated success with account management. • Rare Disease experience preferred. • Extensive experience of the US payer environment and dynamics. • Working knowledge of HIPAA and the reimbursement process. • Ability to influence without direct authority. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills. • Proficient in MS Office products including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
