Description

• Reporting to the VP of Strategy • Play a crucial role in collaborating with the sales and marketing team • Responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the defence, aerospace and marine sectors • Important member of the Business Development team attending industry conferences and business development events • Need a combination of business acumen, understanding of defence technologies, and adept relationship skills to help secure and expand work in the defence sector

Requirements

• 5-7 years experience in business development is strongly preferred with a background in the technology, defence, marine or aerospace industries • Experience as a part of a team developing and executing strategic business development. • Knowledge of the Canadian defence industry and prime contractors is highly advantageous (priority given to those with experience in the RCAF). • Experience working with government and Indigenous relations is an asset • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field is an asset
