Description

• Reporting to the VP of Strategy, the Business Development Manager will identify and cultivate new business opportunities. • They will collaborate with the sales and marketing team and attend industry conferences. • Success will require business acumen, understanding of defence technologies, and relationship skills. • Responsibilities include leading a team, conducting market research, and achieving revenue targets.

Requirements

• 5-7 years experience in business development is strongly preferred with a background in the technology, defence, marine or aerospace industries • Experience as a part of a team developing and executing strategic business development. • Knowledge of the Canadian defence industry and prime contractors is highly advantageous (priority given to those with experience in the RCAF). • Experience working with government and Indigenous relations is an asset • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field is an asset
