Requirements

β€’ 5-10 years of IT sales experience β€’ Mid-level certifications in OEM training programs β€’ College or associate degree are preferred β€’ Ability to put together compressive account plans and strategy β€’ Ability to sell professional and managed services β€’ Ability to cultivate C-level relationships and understand underlying business drivers β€’ Ability to capture large multi-year IT annuity contracts β€’ Detailed understanding of Federal Contracting and acquisition vehicles β€’ Understanding of federal budgets cycles and buying patterns β€’ Ability to navigate within public sources to identity government solicitations and opportunities β€’ Familiar with existing industry CRM applications β€’ Familiar with OEM business processes negotiating discount structures β€’ Strong presentation skills β€’ Ability to work effectively with or without dedicated management/mentor supervision β€’ Demonstrated ability to communicate with vendors and customers in a professional and timely manner β€’ Sufficient phone skills defined by active listening skills β€’ Sufficient writing skills demonstrated by the correct use of grammar
