Description

• work with the PO.DAAC operations team and data providers • develop scripts and approaches for efficient QA/QC of datasets • enhance user experience and usability of datasets • prepare scripts, tutorials, and workshops for PO.DAAC services • provide scientific and technical support for remote sensing data distribution tools

Requirements

• Doctorate in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) • five years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience • experience operating a complex system capable of processing and archiving large amounts of data • experience working within an environment that supports a science community • experience with operations in a cloud environment • project management experience with a DevOps team • hands-on knowledge of data integration techniques • experience transforming data in various formats • experience with both normalized and dimensional data models • hands-on knowledge of data integration techniques
