Description

• The candidate will lead strategic initiatives to advance a safety-first culture across all operations. • The SVP will set safety standards, oversee compliance, and innovate practices for best-in-class safety outcomes. • Collaborate with regional leaders to adapt safety strategies to project environments. • Oversee adherence to regulations, mitigating compliance gaps and managing risk across job sites. • Lead training programs for Protectors and staff to enhance safety capacity. • Use data analytics and capacity metrics to track and reduce safety incidents. • Partner with executives to promote a culture of safety resilience.

Requirements

• 12-15 years of progressive experience in safety leadership, focusing on utilities, telecom, traffic control, construction, or a related field. • Previous executive leadership experience is preferred, with a focus on changing culture. • Relevant working knowledge and experience with capacity modeling to improve Human Performance and Engineering Controls. • Extensive knowledge of OSHA, DOT, CCOHS, and industry-specific regulations. • Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with 8 years of demonstrated experience managing teams across multiple regions. • Ability to interpret safety data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement. • Familiarity with advanced safety technology and engineering solutions, including traffic management systems.
