β€’ Full Time Job Summary: The Application Analyst has primary responsibility for system design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of assigned applications. β€’ Responsible for obtaining and maintaining in-depth knowledge of functional workflows and the software functionality necessary to support them. β€’ Participate in future state workflow review and development and complete the system build necessary to support these new workflows. β€’ Work collaboratively in workgroups and across interdisciplinary teams. β€’ Identify system optimization and enhancements and collaborate with vendors and other technology, project team, and end-user resources in order to design and implement effective solutions. β€’ Research issues and use independent analysis and judgment to produce solution options (including alternative solutions when necessary to address system limitations) to complex matters. β€’ Continually identify opportunities for functional improvement in applications. β€’ Provide tier-2 support of application incidents reported through the help desk. β€’ Maintain up to date documentation. β€’ Implement changes using documented processes that are compliant with departmental policies and procedures. β€’ Promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Health System and practice a high level of customer service in all aspects of job duties.

Requirements

β€’ Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED. β€’ Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. β€’ Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Obtain and maintain Epic certification in assigned application module(s). β€’ Work Experience: One year of related experience. β€’ Current internal/external Epic operational experience strongly preferred. β€’ Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to complete Epic certification and maintain certification in assigned application module(s). β€’ Basic computer skills. β€’ Ability to work independently and within a team across multiple disciplines. β€’ Ability to establish and meet work schedules within limited time frames and under tight deadlines. β€’ Analytical ability to solve both business and technical problems. β€’ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
