β€’ Do you have a passion for luxury travel and creating unforgettable experiences? β€’ Are you a natural at building relationships and crafting personalized journeys for discerning clients? β€’ Do you thrive in an environment where you can share your expertise, inspire others, and elevate the art of luxury cruising? β€’ If you excel at engaging storytelling, fostering strategic relationships, and delivering high-end travel experiences, we want you on our team! β€’ Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours and Emerald Cruises are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to represent our two luxury cruise brands in Ontario. β€’ This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, and expanding the sales territory account portfolio through nurturing and managing relationships with large volume accounts, multi-location consortiums, and strategic partners. β€’ The BDM will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness to achieve sales quotas and strategic account objectives within budget. β€’ Please note that this is a remote position requiring a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability. β€’ Travel is also an essential component of the role, with up to 50% of time spent on the road within Canada, and potentially overseas.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Strong existing relationships with Ontario travel agency accounts. β€’ Five (5+) years of river cruise or cruise sales experience. β€’ Availability to travel up to 50% of the time within Canada and overseas. β€’ Valid passport and ability to travel internationally. β€’ Strong diplomacy skills, including effective negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management. β€’ Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to captivate audiences and convey the luxury travel experience. β€’ Professionalism, organization, and a passion for high-end travel experiences. β€’ Excellent budget management skills. β€’ Ability to regularly lift 20lbs at client events and conferences.
