📋 Description
• Lead SecurityScorecard’s public sector policy strategy at federal, state, and local levels • Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, agency leaders, and procurement officials • Drive budget and appropriation outcomes with Federal, State and Local leaders • Develop partnerships with think tanks and academic institutions • Represent SecurityScorecard in trade associations and policy forums • Draft thought leadership pieces and policy-facing content • Stay informed on legislative developments • Manage external consultants in policy advocacy • Advise senior leadership on public sector trends • Partner with Product and Marketing teams for feedback
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Business, or related field • 8+ years of combined experience in public sector business development, government relations, or public policy • Proven ability to turn policy into budget outcomes • Deep domain expertise in cybersecurity as it relates to the U.S. Public Sector • Located in or willing to relocate to Washington, D.C. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong executive presence.
