Description

• Senior Director of State Engagement at Shatterproof. • Tasked with leading stakeholder engagement in California. • Provide strategic recommendations to increase Treatment Atlas value. • Liaise with state officials, county associations, insurers, and stakeholders. • Develop content and deliver independent presentations. • Provide thought leadership around substance use disorder and treatment. • Manage a team and undertake collaborative projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with focus on public policy, public health, health administration, or a related discipline required or 8 years of experience; • 10+ years of experience in a government agency, research organization, or health care system (addiction treatment preferred) • 3 - 5 years of experience managerial experience required • Ability to travel 30-40% across Treatment Atlas territory • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with multiple high-level stakeholders • Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders preferred • Excellent and persuasive communicator; exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills • Self-reliant, excellent judgment and problem-solving skills • Ability to balance multiple complex workstreams and to adapt in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment • Ability to work independently, from home, as needed • A proactive, team player eager to collaborate with colleagues and partner
