β€’ We are hiring a Director, Medical Affairs Trainer to lead training and customer facing tool development for our medical affairs team. β€’ Reporting to the Vice President of Medical Affairs, this individual will be a member of the Medical Leadership Team and collaborate closely with US medical affairs and cross functional partners in sales training and meetings and events. β€’ We are seeking a strong leader with meticulous project management skills who is innovative, creative, and enjoys developing and coaching people in a fast-paced organization. β€’ Develop annual strategic training plan aligned with medical objectives and insights. β€’ Identify field medical needs and create impactful innovative customer-facing tools for SMAs. β€’ Manage projects through the MLR (medical legal regulatory) review process. β€’ Plan, manage, and execute live training sessions, including logistics and coordination. β€’ Lead onboarding for new Senior Medical Ambassadors (SMAs) and provide feedback. β€’ Ensure compliance with PhRMA guidelines and Tarsus policies. β€’ Plan and manage clinic preceptorships and any live training at major medical meetings. β€’ Lead planning for major medical congresses and manage all related activities and engagements. β€’ Accompany SMAs on field visits to determine training needs and evaluate tool use.

Requirements

β€’ Advanced degree (OD, MD, PhD., or PharmD) with knowledge of eye care preferred. β€’ Minimum of 10 years pharmaceutical experience with at least 5 years in medical affairs. β€’ Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal. β€’ Exceptional project management and training event planning skills. β€’ Critical thinking, leadership skills, assertiveness, excellent negotiation skills evidenced by past performance on medical affairs teams. β€’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. β€’ Must possess a thorough understanding of the FDA, OIG, HIPAA, PhRMA, and other guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry and to ensure compliance with these external and Tarsus compliance guidelines and standard operating procedures. β€’ A high attention to detail and ability to lead and prioritize assigned projects. β€’ Experience with Veeva vault and medical legal review process.
