• The sales team is growing, and we are looking for two (2) Commercial Sales Representatives to cover the following territories: Position 1: Montreal, North Shore, with occasional travel to the Laurentians and Quebec City. Position 2: Montreal, South Shore, Eastern Townships, with occasional travel to the Maritimes. • The Specification Division is supported by internal marketing, design architects, and R&D engineers capable of customizing samples, presentations, marketing channels, and even tailor-made materials. • We believe in industry-specific training for our representatives to create reliable and trustworthy resources for their clients. • The company’s substantial budget for organizational and development initiatives supports them throughout their careers at Techo-Bloc. • Techo-Bloc offers formal sales training and has the industry’s most comprehensive video library for ongoing self-directed learning. • The custom ERP and CRM architecture enables streamlined prospecting, full visibility and management of your pipeline, and paperless proposals, helping you close deals with Techo-Bloc clients. • Reporting to the regional sales manager, the primary role of the Commercial Sales Representative for Quebec is to continue developing clients in the industrial, commercial, and institutional landscaping project sector. • The candidate must maintain strong business relationships with all business partners, stay alert to growth opportunities in the assigned territory, and offer clients products that meet their needs. • In this role, you will be responsible for: Qualifying opportunities generated by marketing, trade shows, face-to-face contacts, and advertising; Achieving quarterly and annual sales targets; Managing and working with a portfolio of commercial landscape contractor clients; Advising and consulting professionals (Landscape Architects, Architects, Engineers, etc.) in selecting products while providing appropriate technical support; Working with the sales team to secure/close commercial sales; Using project software to stay updated on upcoming opportunities and projects currently underway by competitors; Hosting "lunch and learns" and developing brand awareness; Identifying, maintaining, and closing specification opportunities using the CRM pipeline; Preparing bids for all opportunities and closely following up on identified projects throughout the sales cycle.
• Bachelor's degree in administration or any related field (relevant experience may be considered) • Bilingual (English and French) (English is required to serve our clients in the United States) • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in B2B sales • Experience working with engineering and architectural firms, municipalities, real estate developers, etc. • Excellent negotiation skills • Ability to manage a complete and rigorous process • Teamwork and interpersonal relationship skills • Autonomy, proactivity, organization, and problem-solving abilities • Good command of computer tools (Microsoft Office Suite) and customer relationship management (CRM) • Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record • Availability to travel over 40 to 60% of the time within the assigned territory and to headquarters
