• Consultative sales position working with channel sales and marketing customers • Representing the entire portfolio of The Channel Company, including leading media brands, events, research and consulting, and marketing services • Build and maintain relationships with customers over a long period of time • Make actionable recommendations at a high strategic level regarding products and services for clients
• BS/BA degree required • Marketing or Communications preferred • 5+ years sales experience to IT hardware manufacturers or in the IT reseller channel • Strong Selling background in media, events required • Marketing background selling marketing services • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Teams for Collaboration • Strong Salesforce.com knowledge • Must have solid grasp of business principles and familiarity with sales and marketing in the IT channel specifically • A true passion for sales; ability to present ideas clearly and convincingly • Strong math skills; ability to price proposals, calculate rates, and create P&Ls for proposed projects • Accountable for reaching revenue growth targets and strict annual sales quotas • Willing and able to travel a significant portion of the time • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment, readily adapting to continually changing priorities and aggressive project timeframes • Ability to work efficiently and independently; great team-player mentality • Strong time management; oral & written communication skills with an ability to articulate rational to clients, other team members, and stakeholders • Understanding of The Channel Company structure is a plus
