Description

• As the Account Executive for our Northwest territory, you will have the unique opportunity to work in a dynamic sales role at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., a global leader in specialty diagnostics • Responsible for securing prescribed revenue objectives for PDX’s oncology and special protein products • Prospecting and closing new Laboratory and Health System business, while also maintaining and growing existing accounts • Develops and implements the strategy and tactics to increase test utilization and test menu, effectively presenting the value of our testing to key individuals within target organizations • Grows oncology and special protein market share by converting competitors using all contractual options (purchase, lease, and placement) • Collaborates and runs new product implementations and instrument go-lives, working with cross-functional teams to successfully implement new offerings • Provides business insight and value to retain customers and improve customer relationships, while also building Key Opinion Leaders • Acts as the primary liaison between the customer and other Commercial personnel, including marketing, commercial operations, and executive leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Life Sciences or Business • Minimum of 2+ years’ sales experience required in either Laboratory, Medical Device, or Diagnostics Sales • 3+ years, preferred • May also consider at least 1 year experience in a technical support science role in support of medical and diagnostic sales • 2+ years, preferred Capital Sales experience strongly preferred • Consistent record of success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth • Strong strategic selling and complex selling skills • Must be willing to travel 50 - 75% throughout assigned territory
