• The Inside Sales Representative, BioProduction will maintain a sales territory • Support incoming customer inquiries for an assigned territory • Engage with both tactical and strategic customers that are not assigned to Field Bioproduction Account Managers • Lead tactical customer calls, quote inquiries, product inquiries, documentation requirements to strengthen business for assigned customers • Design and implement a detailed business plan with strategies to win business and drive growth • Engage directly with potential clients to increase customer engagement • Grow the territory focusing on meeting an assigned Annual Operating Target • Apply effective sales strategies to proactively seek out sales opportunities • Apply knowledge and understanding of the Company’s operational processes, market position, and competition to identify and qualify leads
• Bachelor’s Degree required • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably within a related industry • Strong desire to serve the customer and the interpersonal skills to efficiently engage with various levels of personnel at the customer site • Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions and observations from market trends and sales data analysis • Solid understanding and proficiency in life sciences and/or the bioprocess industry to be able to serve as a resource for customers • Ability to present information to research & process development scientists, purchasing, and supply chain personnel
