• As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you’ll discover meaningful work that makes a positive impact on a global scale • Contribute to learning strategies for Transplant Diagnostics Division in the Specialty Diagnostics Group as a Commercial Training Specialist on our Sales Operations Team • Evaluate the learning and development needs of the global sales team through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations • Craft and develop comprehensive training programs that align with organizational goals and sales objectives • Facilitate dynamic and interactive training sessions for sales representatives and managers • Provide training on the sales process, covering prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting solutions, handling objections, and closing techniques • Coach and mentor sales representatives to improve their selling skills • Train the sales team on the effective use of commercial tools, CRM systems, and other technology platforms to boost productivity and efficiency • Assess the efficiency of training programs through evaluations and feedback • Stay current with industry trends, sales methodologies, and standard processes
• Bachelor's degree • At least three years of relevant experience in clinical or healthcare sales and/or marketing • Proven experience as a Sales Training Specialist or similar role, preferably within a healthcare sales environment • Understanding of the current transplant diagnostics or healthcare environment • Strong knowledge of sales processes, selling techniques, and sales methodologies • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and encourage learners in both in-person and virtual settings • Proficiency in instructional design principles and adult learning theory • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with sales team members, subject matter experts, and collaborators • Analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate training efficiency • Familiarity with sales tools, content creation, as well as e-learning and Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms and CRM systems • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and deliver training programs in a dynamic environment
