β’ Selling Topcon construction products in an assigned territory. β’ Prepare written sales planning materials regarding potential customers and forecasting. β’ Develop new customer accounts by selling and promoting the value of Topcon products. β’ Develop strategies for the adaptation of Topcon technology. β’ Obtain and compile data on market trends, competitive products, and pricing. β’ Prepares bids and proposals, negotiates contracts, and agreements. β’ Negotiate pricing of products to customers and maintain customer contact. β’ Develop and document customer visits. β’ Participate in regional and national trade shows. β’ Performs other duties as required.
β’ BS in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent β’ Experience in civil engineering, construction, or survey and/or experience in Sales β’ Superior listening and interpersonal skills β’ Ability to successfully work in teams. β’ Sound business and financial acumen β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook β’ Strong communication skills both verbal and written. β’ Open to travel β’ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. β’ High energy level, possesses stamina, able to work long hours. β’ Strong presentation and negotiation skills β’ Able to be a leader in both personal and business endeavors. β’ Creative drive and results-oriented
