• Work closely with Underwriting leaders to influence and execute standards. • Evaluate, synthesize, and communicate underwriting insights across the organization. • Train, develop, and reward staff to ensure high performance. • Design and deliver underwriting standards and practices. • Assess execution of underwriting controls and identify trends. • Utilize data and analytics for actionable insights.
• 6 years of compliance, underwriting, claim, product or relevant underwriting quality assurance experience required. • 2+ years directly managing others; prior leadership experience a plus. • Extensive experience in commercial property casualty product and/or underwriting. • Intermediate strategic thinking skills and a continuous improvement mindset. • Knowledge of risk assessment, technology, and auditing principles. • CPCU, AU, CIA, or other industry designation a plus.
